DALLAS, TX (KERA) -If you've been thinking of replacing a major appliance, you may want to hold off until April if possible. The state comptroller's office will use more than 23-million dollars in federal stimulus money as rebates for purchases of energy-star rated appliances between April 16 and the 25th. Sam Baker talked with R.J. DeSylva, a spokesperson for the Texas Comptroller, about the program in this KERA Economy segment.
